Property Manager:

We have decided to transfer our property management to MyHOA-online.com LLC effective 2/15/18

Benefits:

Dramatic price decrease; have been paying $1600-$1800 per month in fees to Yalnes

Payments will be done online/some processing fees

Can set up automatic transfers

No mailed statements

Easier for homeowners to access

Can file complaints anonymously; they notify homeowner.

We intend to notify Yalnes this week and hope to be switched over by April 1. Will also have to change banks to Chase to work with MyHOA-online.com LLC.

Eydie will come to the HOA meeting to advise people how to use the website, pay bills, answer questions.

Treasury report not available due to family emergency.

Community improvements:

Applying for grant from city to help with improvements; Will try to get more play equipment with grant if we can

Signs going up at entrances and for park

Clubhouse improvements in process; getting bids from 2 contractors next week

Parking for college; city meeting with college next week to try to solve some of our parking problems.

Secretary report:

None. Still getting used to the new responsibility.

Received computer replacement from Dianne Moon

Other business:

Parking issue; too many cars that are not working, being parked in ways that block access to get out for daily business. Have talked to neighbors but got no cooperation. Called police and neighbors were advised they can’t block the driveway but it continues to happen. It’s also an emergency hazard.

In addition, there is a lot of garbage stacked up and it’s attracting rats. 

HOA has a bucket of red paint and will be marking some curbs for emergency access, working with Fire Marshall. Signs have been delivered for neighborhood and will be placed soon. Signs include  No Parking and Private Park signs.

Will be using parking permits for certain areas in the neighborhood.

Once signs are placed and curbs marked, can call police to have cars towed.

New management company will help us report and enforce fees for infractions

Working on getting people familiar with rules and regs of HOA.
